The wise words of the day from my Facebook, "Success is suffering from joy."
My reply: Joy is the mother of success.
iPod, iPad and iPhone are good examples. The designers had the joy to make them great products. The whip from Jobs helped too. They're moved to the edge that no one passed before.
Did Microsoft had similar products? iPod and iPad, yes for sure. They lacked the joy and the motivation of making them great products - that led them naturally to fail.
We'll be hard to fail if we put our best effort into some works we enjoy without meeting some obligations and expecting rewards. The work could be as simple as sweeping floor.
