Though mathematically incorrect, 5% unemployment is full employment for
the US. Why so? It is more beneficial to collect the welfare than work.
No one is stupid enough to take a job and lose the free (in many states) medical
delivery.
The future does not look good for the
workers. For every 10 jobs returned from Mexico or China, we only gain 2
jobs at most and robots are taking the other jobs. Robots can take many
white collar jobs such as financial advisers and trading stocks.
