However, it
is true to some extent using the Exclusion Act on Chinese. Chinese
built the railroad (even you do not see any yellow face in the picture
on each milestone). Their families were excluded for coming for a long
while.
Every country should import immigrants to enrich the
society. The USA has been slow in doing so. They imported a lot of
economical refugees (a lot of them collecting welfare and statistics
never lie) instead of immigrants who offer skills and investments to
this country.
In reality, we do not need all the economical
refugees after we've 'forced' the able welfare recipients and cheaters
to work on jobs no one wants. Coming here to enjoy all the welfare
benefits will not be good for the country. When we legalize the
illegals, many will collect welfare instead of work if the welfare and
work pay the same. It is a human nature, nothing to do with racism.
On
the other hand, I do not blame the current influx of children for
seeking better lives, but our relaxed rules and regulations. Again we do
not need fences..., just no welfare benefits and punish the employers
who hire them. Without these, they will not come.
