Tough for Apple to open factories in India.
India does not produce
the thousands or so components in a iPhone unless the current OEMers
open shops in India. Possible but very risky for OEMers.
Even they double to 4%, their investment may not be profitable.
The
infrastructure (electricity, roads...) has to be considered. They have
not copied a page from China for the last 20 years. All talks but no
actions. The corruption in India is far worse than China.
