Every country including USA is manipulating her currency for the benefit of the country. Our leaders try to divert our attention from the problems they cannot fix.

Most countries want to depreciate their currency to stimulate export. China cannot depreciate it too much as they do not want to pay too high prices for the stuffs they need to import such as airplanes and some farm products.

It is good for the borrower. When you receive the loan / interest back with higher value, you win.
