one forwarded me the following article. It is not too hard to
understand the problem of this country. It is not the rich, not China (actually China saved GM from the second bankruptcy),
but the poor who take advantage of the middle class and our constant involvement in foreign wars.
The rich who lay the golden eggs just fly to another country when they're taxed to the maximum.
The question is how we pay for these parasites and for how long before we're bankrupt if not already.

The simple math is he has eventually TEN votes at least at one time and that's why he is loved by the politicians and the politicians have to increase and protect his benefits.

ReplyDeleteThis WAS a country where government did not buy votes. When my grandparents came to the U.S. there were no Federal social programs, no Social Security, no Medicare, noWelfare and no income taxes. Millions poured into this country looking for opportunity -- not a safety net.
The Democratic party changed the whole dynamic in the 1930's with Social Security. Ever since then, the Democrats have looked for new, more intrusive programs. The coup de grace was Johnson's War on Poverty and Medicare. Ever since, Democrat's main campaign theme has been to tell voters what government goodies the Republicans will take away from them. The current administration has taken that to a whole new level, pitting the people who pay the least taxes and receive the most from the government against the people who pay the most taxes, accusing them of not paying their fair share.
Oh, we might not be a 3d world country -- yet -- but our elections are about vote buying. No doubt about it!

ReplyDeleteYou don't know? Due to the disclosure of this story, tens of millions of American families have given up their jobs and gone on welfare to live the great life that the current welfare recipients lead.
Mr. TonyP4 has done a great service to the American middle class by bringing to their attention this great and effortless method (well, unless you think that reproduction requires effort) which will allow them to lead a wonderful life.
Supposedly we do not have welfare benefit for life. However, it is enforced individually by states. Mass. has not enforced it.
