My son complained to get up at 4 am to go to a show yesterday.
In my first summer in college and desperate for money, I worked from 5 pm to 10 pm in a steak house as a bus boy and then 4 am to 12 noon cleaning slot machines in a casino for 6 and sometimes 7 days a week. When I worked 5 days, I felt I was lazy! I did not feel I over-worked. So do not complain as money does not grow on trees.
On the second year, I earned a better living by correcting home works for a professor in Physics and worked part time in a Chinese restaurant. I was exempted to take college Physics.
On one semester of the third year, I took 30 credits trying to finish college in 3 and a half year even I lost a lot of credits due to changing major.
I had a good social life too and a GPA of 3.4 out of 4. College was a breeze for me. There was no pressure compared to back home. The tuition fees were minimal - thanks to California tax payers. Yes, it was a easy state college and I would not fare that well if I went to a better college - my daughter wondered whey I did not go.

Return to sender
When I am in N.Korea, I will vote for the spoiled kid so I would not be
imprisoned. Well, N.Korea is the last place I want to visit.
I would tell the spoiled kid that we would sell them our most advanced missiles. Personally I will program it so when it comes towards us, it would return to sender as the King sings.

The Chinese restaurant I went to says they open at 12 am. Are they wrong or the world is wrong?
The next hour from 11 am is 12 am, NOT 12 pm. The one who set it up did it totally wrong and no one complains until now. If I were born earlier, I would have corrected it. If I were born here, I would be the president and every one would have a job by now.
The same if I stayed with the Fed (I actually worked for them briefly and I still had the key to the executive rest room to prove it), we would not have this financial mess today.
Or, if I played for the Celtics (I need two more feet or I play guard and was born decades later), they would be in the final this year.

We should give zero to NATO except giving discounts for buying our weapons. We should not aid Japan and all the countries that have higher living standard than us.
Euro and Pound should be up this year. Even with the current rise in the stock market in Europe, more money will be directed to European stocks. There are still more bargains than the US.

In China, it is 3 due to the one child's policy.

Read an interest article comparing US and China (one run by lawyers and the other by engineers). If we do not know what's wrong with this great (at least once) country, how can we know how to fix it?

Make it a little harder.
You should be able to count to 20 without the socks on.
When you can sign your name in any language, you're literate.
When you can write your full name in any language, you're very educated.
When you do not collect any welfare, you're in the middle class.
When you do not say 'fxxk', you're in the upper society.
When you're only 100 lb over weight, you're very fit and are envied by your neighbors who are 200 lb over weight.
I wrote the above at the sip of the coffee. So there should be more. I call it permissive society. Or, this is how our politicians fix our problems by setting lower bench marks.
