The Doklam conflict brings up a lot of military comparisons between
India and China. Most were written by Indians and Chinese usually
compare herself to USA. With few exceptions, China is far ahead than
India. It will be the same for the coming decade. My reasons:
1.
Growing economy in China. Most countries allocate a percent of GDP to
military. Poorer countries usually allocate less due to higher priority
for the basics.
2. It appears to be an advantage of importing
military gears from foreign countries. However, it drains the budget.
China has a larger portion of building them in house and capture a
larger world military market and moving to a higher-end products such as
the drone (virtually from zero in this market).
3. India's religion
dictation hinders with the military and economic growth. It teaches them
not to kill and you see holy cows roaming in major cities.
4. Tibet. China can redirect water supply to India. It is in higher ground giving a strategic location.
China never wants a war with India and the last war (62 if I remember it right) is a joke to me.
Now, the two countries withdrew troops and declared victory - who is the loser?
